Q: Is downloading or listening to music on your website legal ?


A: Yes it is. Royalty is paid to the copyright owner for every download. Artists and or copyright owners can easily reach us.


Q: Why do you have "pop" sounds in the background ?


A: We used the original vinyl records we can get and try as much as possible to eliminate background noise. Some of these albums are very hard to find. We travel all over Nigeria to find them and many times they don't look pretty. This is one of the reasons we let you listen to the songs in full before you buy. A strictly honest operation.


Q: Why can't I find the song or artist I want ?


A: We will continue to update our data base. Always check back as your choice may be in the MP3 conversion process or we are still combing Nigeria for it. You can sign up to be notified or make recommendations or suggestions in the members village square.


Q: How many songs or albums do you have on this site ?


A: Our objective is to collect ALL Nigerian traditional classic music for posterity. This is a continuos project and we add tens of new finds all the time.


Q: Why are you guys doing this ?


A: We made a commitment not to let our musical heritage disappear. It is a fact and pity that it is almost impossible to find classic recordings of our cultural icons in the 60s and even early 80s. ALL will be found and preserved for generations to come.


Q: How can I play my purchased in my car ?


A: You can burn downloaded songs to a CD or import it into your MP3 player.


Q: Why do I have to be a member to listen to the songs ?


A: Most of the songs on our site are hard to find and we cherish everyone of them and greatly respect all the artists. We believe you feel same way too. Takes 1 minute or 2 to register and you will not be bothered with new additions if you choose to. See our privacy policy please.


Q: My Onijo apparel has not arrived yet. What do I do ?


A: Please take up any billing or shipping inquiries with Spreadshirt, our vendor partner. Please use their provided contact form and include your order confirmation number.


Q: How can I track my ordered apparel ?


A:  All order tracking is done through Spreadshirt, our vendor partner. Orders can be tracked by logging into Spreadshirt and using the order tracking system, or by following the order confirmation links in your purchase confirmation e-mail. For any other inquiries, please contact Spreadshirt directly.


Q: Can I return or exchange purchased apparel ?


A: Should a mistake arise, we kindly ask that you contact us within 30 days to coordinate an acceptable solution. Please include your order number and a detailed explanation of the problem.
